As business professionals and humans, we always have the urge to help someone, and that’s never a bad thing. However, there’s a reason why on planes, they tell you to put on your own mask first before helping someone else.

When you board a plane, you take your seat and a steward, or stewardess, just before taxiing, they go through a bunch of safety features.
One of them is, if you, if a mask comes down, make sure you put your mask on first, before you help anybody else.
Now, there's obviously a reason for that, because if you can't breathe, there's no way you're going to be able to help anyone else. So make sure you put your mask on first, before you help someone else.
Now that's not too dissimilar in business, to your business, in the sense that if you haven't got your system organized, how can you A. Communicate? How can you share files? How can you do anything with your clients and for your client to have a a good user experience there just isn't anything there.
So I always tell people, make sure that your system is set up correctly.
Because then you can stop worrying about the technology, stop worry... So you can breathe basically, you know, once you put your mask on. And then help your client without having the obstacles in the way of you doing the work and you helping your clients.
So if you don't put your mask on first, if you don't have your Tech organized as well as it should be. I E your emails, your communication between your clients, the software that you're using, et cetera, then the user experience for your client isn't that well, so that means that you're not helping your client to the best of your abilities.
Because your abilities have been taken away and your focus is on fighting with your Tech rather than helping your clients.
